Dr. Cimbal was originally from the Northern Virginia/Washington DC metro area but has been a New Mexican since 2006. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary medicine and has practiced in Alexandria, Virginia, and all around the state of New Mexico.

Dr. Cimbal's professional interests include dentistry, surgery, and exotic species. She has also had the opportunity to work with zoo animals and wildlife.

Dr. Cimbal lives in Rio Rancho with her husband and two active kids. They also have three dogs; Deuce, Ocho, and Pupito, a cat named Silver, chickens, some big plecos, and a tiger oscar. Her family enjoys snowboarding, camping, and eating great food.
